More driving. Between the gawking tourists and the massive road construction...it wasn't exactly a quick drive.
I have no idea what this is. I have never seen this plant before and I haven't found it in any of my keys and books. I am almost tempted to say that it was plated by the landscapers. This was at the Logan Pass viewing center.
I couldn't stand it anymore. I had to get out and about. I told my parents I would be right back...
It is a good thing that they know me better than that. I ran up the trail about a mile and a half to get away from the tourists and to have a look at the scenery. I am glad I did.

Hidden Lake. I didn't hike all the way down to the lake. Having abandoned my parents in the parking lot, I was starting to feel guilty about taking a three mile hike into the pass. I snapped a few interesting photos and hoofed it back through the mass of tourists and back down to my wayward parental units.
