As you have no doubt noticed, this post is about sunsets. The above consist of a series of sunsets that I experienced from our place of residence in Ashburton, New Zealand on the South Island. I felt they deserved an honorable mention. In no way have I edited these photos, other then an occasional crop. What you see is exactly what the camera produced without modification, special settings, filters, or tricks. The fact that most of the pictures are cluttered with humanity, out of focus or digitally zoomed past what is considered a "crisp" photograph, should speak for itself. There weren't many great sunsets...but the ones I witnessed were definitely worth remembering and sharing.
