Father's Day Part 2. Hungry Horse Reservoir

Part two of the Father's Day fishing trip. Even though we didn't really catch any fish and I personally was skunked, it still was fun. The weather held, the temperatures were great, wildlife was plentiful and all in all it was yet again, another perfect day.

I am addicted to fire. There is no way around it. Pyromania runs deep in my veins. Note the exploding pitch pocket on the lower right hand side of the frame.

If you stare at this long enough, you might see the coals and embers flicker.

A little smoke never hurt no one.

And more flames. Fire is mankind's savior and yet it is still one of our greatest fears.

More Bear Grass. This time taken in low light with a high flash. Fascinating plants.

From Below

Packing up, putting the fire out and getting ready to head out. Dusk was crashing down upon us and its a long drive back.

This was a fun excursion. Happy Father's Day. (Two days late)
